Queen of Hungary Water - (local pickup only)

$10.00

What a fun name with many uses! Legend has it that this tonic, dating back to the 1300's, is what a very beautiful Queen Elisabeth of Hungary used (and at the age of 70, she had a 25 year old suitor propose to her - so maybe there is something to this tonic).

Modern uses suggest this as a skin astringent/toner for medium to oily skin. It is made with vinegar but infused with so many beautiful skin loving herbs including lemon balm, chamomile, rosemary, calendula, rose petal, sage, and comfrey. I've added a little lavender essential oil to sweeten the smell.

Recipe is adapted from Rosemary Gladstar's version. The lemon balm, rose petal, and comfrey are from my garden - the rest are purchased from a very reputable organic herb company.

Use a cotton ball or soft facial cloth to dab tonic on your face, neck, shoulders, back, etc...
